The Language Experience is based in Colchester, Essex and was founded by Véronique and Ian Pearson. We have been successfully providing bespoke language solutions for over 12 years.
Our tutors are experienced native French speakers who will put you at ease and help you reach your learning goals at a pace that suits you.
Although we are well established and have had great success in teaching a wide selection of people to speak French, we have remained focused on staying a friendly, local, family run business. We understand that our students want professional, competent, native tutors but learning is also a very personal experience and we aspire to provide a friendly, flexible and intimate service that is missing from national tutoring agencies.
Why Teach French?
Since the Language Experience was first created, we have helped students with varying ambitions from gaining qualifications to conversing with the locals on holiday or starting a new dream life abroad.
We realised that, in many cases, Language was taught in a rigid, regimented way. Whether it is at school, evening classes or by a traditional tutor, students are often provided with snippets of a language, enough so they can get by or pass their exam. We feel that you should truly understand the language, the culture and the people.
So our tutors are experienced native French speakers who are dedicated to help you achieve your goals and make your experience pleasurable. They can offer you an insight into the festivals, food and traditions that make France and the French language so intriguing to so many.
